![]() ![]() This literally happens every single time I switch from asio to any one of the other drivers. I mean it's not pleasurable that others are having problems, but I am having nothing but issues with premium 2019 crashing over and over and over, most notably when I switch from ASIO over to any one of the other audio drivers such as the wave driver or the direct soundt driverdtoplay the audio I recorded, the software either completely crashes and resets or a Windows error box pops up suggesting that I send information to Magix or stop the program or whatever else it says. And give us updates that better the software and not make it unusable. My only hope, is they finish bug fixing and develope testing before they release and sell they're software. So why not to switch to other music software? - The reason is simply - I have tried most of them, and no music software is so simply and straight forward to use, like MMM, and if your'e like me and you like the sound of the 70's and 80's, that's where this software marvels, because it does not give you sterilized digital sound, you dont even have to humanize your track because it sounds so live, timbre and fat. The program and the plugins can have memory leak, so don't let the program stay open for long time or you will end up out of memory. ![]() When you have finished recording you should increase the block size to 1024 or 2048 and the crackling sound should dissapear.īecause of the terribly instability issue you should do every thing in small steps, save and save often, make backup copies of your current project progress often. Low latency and small block size is necessary to record in real time. When using low latency drivers and a small block size, the sound quality degrees and you will hear crackling sound. As a songwriter and composer, there is nothing I hate more than instability in a program I use to create with. ![]() I hope the MAGIX software team is hard at work coming up with an update that will solve instability problems like this. wav file in Music Maker and then save the string and orchestral tracks in Music Maker to salvage my project. wav file), when suddenly the tracks stopped playing about one minute into the song. For example, I was working on some string and orchestral arrangements the other day (synched to a track I had done in another program - an imported. I don’t want to criticize such a great program, but lately I can’t do more than two or maybe 3 tracks at a time without the program displaying significant dysfunction. I must say I have really liked the program in the past, and many of the instruments are superb. Well, MAGIX Music Maker seems to be having some real stability problems in the latest version of Windows 10. And the problem with the program crashing repeatedly when I am trying to get into it is really frustrating. Is this something that can be fixed with a setting change? It would be nice to be able to record at least 6 or 8 tracks at a time without crackling noises in the tracks or seeming memory problems. But I have a huge number of gigabytes free on my hard disc, and I have more than ample built-in solid state memory as well. It's almost as if the program is running out of memory or something. And when I try to record more than 3 or 4 tracks at a time, I get a weird crackling noise in the extra tracks. There have been some other peculiarities, such as Music Maker telling me that instruments are not installed when I have already installed and downloaded them. Sometimes I have to try 2 or 3 times before I can finally get into Music Maker and actually start using the program. When I try to open Music Maker Premium Edition 2019, it just locks up and then Windows tells me there is a problem with the program, and Windows reboots automatically and makes me log in again. Is anyone else having this problem? I find that Music Maker Premium Edition 2019 is crashing repeatedly within the Windows 10 environment. ![]()
